Summer Nights Gives Back

Members of the Rapid City Summer Nights Board of Directors and Tom Helland of Eagle Sales of the Black Hills presented a $20,000 check to Rapid City Police Chief Steve Allender that will be donated to the RCPD Fallen Heroes Memorial Fund.

The money raised came from tips that were collected at the August 4th Summer Nights and were graciously matched by Summer Nights and Eagle Sales of the Black Hills.

Thank you to everyone that donated!

2011 Summer Nights Will Be Bigger Than Ever

The 2011 season of Rapid City Summer Nights is going to be the biggest and best ever.

This year, Summer Nights will be expanding onto Main St. to accommodate much larger crowds and to provide a safer area for the kids activities.

No longer will you have to worry about kids crossing St. Joseph street to get from the beer garden and stage area to the kids area, as the kids activities area is now going to be in the blocked off section of Main St. near Prairie Edge.

The band lineup for this Summer is one of the best we’ve ever had, so be sure to check out the complete 2011 schedule to see what bands are playing when.
